Not enough? We'll also go over the intangibles that play a big part in position management, including consistency, ego and emotional attachment. And in response to many requests, this course will take significant time demonstrating how to use the thinkorswim software to your advantage as you start to look at the bigger picture in your trading.

Prerequisites

The Position and Portfolio Management Class is an advanced level course and we won't waste any time getting into the meat of understanding how to manage multiple complex positions. What does that mean? You should have a solid understanding of the following:

Terminology

We recommend that you have an understanding of the following terms:

Calls Puts Volatility In the Money Intrinsic Value

Equity Index Naked (yes, this is for real) At the Money Out of the Money Extrinsic Value

The Greeks Delta Gamma Theta Vega Time and Vertical Spreads

Other classes

We recommend that you have already attended Options 101 and Beyond the Basics prior to attending this class. In fact, if you can fit a Virtual Trader and/or a Learn N’ Trade in as well, it certainly won’t hurt!

Cost

This class is free of charge.

Bringing a Guest

We encourage you to bring your friends, family members and colleagues, although we do ask that they register prior to the class, so that we can provide enough seating.

Laptops

You do not need to bring your laptop, as all in the class will be viewing several large screens in the front of the classroom. You are free to bring your laptop, although we cannot guarantee that the class venue will have wireless capabilities.

Food and Beverage

We will be providing coffee and tea service at this class.

Parking

As each venue is different, please inquire with the specific location of your class about the cost of parking.
